· Location: Shenzhen (Nanshan District)

A fantastic opportunity for a driven NPD Manager to influence strategy and join a growing footwear and sporting goods trading company.

You will spend the majority of your time in our Shenzhen office and in nearby factories. Your time will be focused on managing the new product development process and team for our footwear and sporting goods products, as well as daily communication with our client-facing team to ensure timely updates and direction to our customers. Detailed planning required involving coordination with suppliers, client managers, production sites and packaging to ensure facilities are available, deadlines achieved and product meets all specification requirements. Strong English presentation skills are necessary to support office and factory visits from our European and North American clients.

The successful candidate will be an Overseas Chinese (USA, UK, etc) or Hong Kong citizen. Engineering or design-related major is a plus. You will have a background in product development, from concept to launch, with at least 5 years of work experience, including management experience. Understanding of mold technology, tooling timelines and 3D drawing programs is helpful. Excellent project management skills and detail-oriented organizational habits are a must. You will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally, and to organize and motivate people to gain cooperation in the planning and conduct of the development process. The ability to be investigative, creative and innovative is key.

Fluent Mandarin and fluent English are required. Current Guangdong area residence preferred.

Salary Level: depending on experience.
