Responsibilities:
- Sustain existing manufacturing process and implement continual process improvement
- Streamline production process to maximize efficiency, yield, and product quality
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve production machine malfunctions (mechanical, vacuum, electrical, etc.) and other related issues
- Coordinate tasks and provide guidance to maintenance team and production team
- Design R&D experiments to carry out new product development
- Create and document new and existing process instructions/protocols
Prior Experience:
- 2+ year process or manufacturing experience (thin film sputtering and vacuum technology preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot (hands on) mechanical and electrical problems
- Ability to safely operate basic mechanical tools and test equipment (e.g. hand drills, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
- Resourceful and self-driven. Must be able to carry out assignments with limited supervision.
- Training will be provided but strong analytical skills and excellent problem solving ability a must.
- Experience in both start up environment and high-volume manufacturing environment a plus
- Ability and willingness to work hand-ons to support 24/7 operation environment
- Sputtering and Vacuum experience a plus.
- Software and/or programming a plus.
- PLC, GUI, HMI programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.) knowledge.
