Advanced Specialist Wiring Harness

Division, located in Shenyang/China

Employment – full time

Tasks

- This position has the role to establish the local development & integration capability as an initial first step in wiring harness development area and competency build-up in China

- Furthermore the candidate works as the key interface between BMW Brilliance Automotive, BMW R&D center in Munich and steers local suppliers and the local development/integration process in order to optimize the development work flow

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for the local development and integration of the wiring harness in R&D

- Development topic: 3D harness routing in conjunction with mechanical engineering

- Coordinate wiring harness work with colleagues and suppliers in China and Germany in the fields of development, production, quality assurance, purchasing and controlling

- Coordinate work with colleagues from production in Shenyang to ensure optimal operation of the vehicles in the plant

- Steer the project management tasks at BMW Brilliance Automotive

Qualifications

- Diploma, MBA or Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering

- Experience in automotive industry in wiring harness related functions (hardware, development process, vehicle integration, components)

- General knowledge of computer aided design tools and systems (e.g., computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), computer aided three dimensional interactive (CATIA)

- Language Skills: Fluent Chinese & English, German a plus

- Knowledge of various automotive engineering fields, eg. electrical, mechanical and systems

- General knowledge of requirement and change management

- Strong team work and communication skills in a multicultural team

- Work experience in an international environment, 1-3 years

- Experience in the automotive field, 4-6 years
