Senior Specialist Equipment Planning Foundry

Employment – full time

Tasks

To build an equipment planning team for the establishment of a new low-pressure die casting foundry in China, more equipments planners are needed. This position needs background on some of the machines: core mixer, sand reclamation, core shooter, melting furnace, degassing unit, Low pressure die casting machine, cooling line, decoring and sawing, crack penetration, shot blasting, machining, and other central equipments (crane, handling crane), etc.

Key Responsibilities

- Make planning concept (new machines, layout) with production and maintenance.

- Make specification of new equipment to meet demand from production and maintenance.

- Investigate and evaluate suppliers from technology point of view

- Track performance of suppliers and responsible for the major milestones of new investment: pre acceptance, delivery, arrival, installation, successful dry test, functional readiness, pre hand over, performance test, and final acceptance

- Hand over new equipments to production, maintenance and quality

- Planning work in foundry plant assigned by leader

Qualifications

- Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering with knowledge of foundry technology

- Organizational skills and assertiveness

- Good knowledge of materials forming

- Knowledge of MS Office

- Fluent in English language

- Teamwork and communication skills

- Analytical thinking

- Willingness to travel abroad

- Project experience,1-3 years

- In-depth experience in the manufacturing industry,1-3 years

- Leadership experience,1-3 years
