Advanced Specialist Vehicle Test E/E

Employment – full time

Tasks

· Responsible for the validation of Powertrain E/E system properties and E/E customer function properties in terms of first-time operation support

· Coordination and conduction of failure analysis in close cooperation with production and quality departments as well as project management and R&D departments in Munich

Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for HW/SW update on all Powertrain control units at test vehicles and pre-integration test areas

· Responsible for first-time operation after test vehicle modification or build within plant Shenyang

· Responsible for coordination and conduction of failure analysis related to Powertrain E/E at development cars incl. technical hotline service by telephone

· Responsible for transferring all Powertrain E/E failures in formal Problem management from reporting, definition of measurement until confirmation of bug-fixes

· Supporting the quality department in optimizing the vehicle build process in terms of E/E quality

· Responsible for validation and testing of Powertrain E/E functions

· Responsible for the creation of the EA driving recommendation

Qualifications

· Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering or related majors

· Languages skills: Chinese, English business fluent and preferably good German knowledge

· Good knowledge in Microsoft office

· Very good communication skills and customer orientation

· Functional understanding for hybrid functions and electric vehicles

· Self-responsible and reliable working attitude and initiative

· Analytic and working method, also during work under pressure

· Ability to enforce her or his own position

· Knowledge in measurement and CAN, LIN, Flex Ray communication tools (INCA, CANalyzer…)

· Knowledge in tools to flash, analyze, INCA, Quality Center

· Willingness to frequent travelling inside China and extended trips to Munich (up to 12 weeks)

· Excitement for new energy vehicles and testing operations

· Working experience in automotive development as engineer in E/E integration or calibration, 1-3 years

· Working experiences with control unit, bus communication and vehicle functional structure, 1-3 years

· International experience based on working overseas or working for a foreign company in China incl. frequent business trips out of China, 1-3 years
