Advanced Specialist Total Vehicle Validation

Employment – full time

Tasks

- Assessment of requirements for total vehicle function from customer’s point of view

- Conduct total vehicle validation for local developed and produced cars

- On-road endurance and functional testing and special test like summer/winter test

- Rating and analysis of all customer related function for all KIFA(G) / CoCs against customer expectation and relevant benchmark

- Error reporting and management with BMW´s tools like PQM, QC

- Triggering solutions with relevant CoC partner to reach desired performance level

- Summarization of all customer related functions resulting in sign-off documents for all synchro-points

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct virtual and total vehicle testing in all relevant development stages to verify and validate the performance level for all customer related functions

- Test vehicle planning and synchronization of all necessary test requirements among all process partners involved

- Test event organization

- Problem feedback to all process partners

Qualifications

- University degree bachelor/master in all vehicle or engine related studies

- High communication ability, experience in leading interdisciplinary and intercultural teams

- High degree of understanding of complex technical systems

- Knowledge of all BMW development processes

- Experienced in integration of systems into total vehicle functions

- Knowledge of all Electric/Hybrid drive train systems

- High degree of dedication and commitment

- Assertiveness and proactive approach

- Analytic ability to reason

- High language ability in German and English – willingness to learn Chinese

- Knowledge of BMW measurement systems like Blueprint, FEGER, EDR …

- BMW driving license, B1, B2, B3, C1

- 3-5 years of recent, independent project management work, 4-6 years
