Advanced Specialist Welding Specialist Painted Body

Corporate Division Prototype Production

Division, located in Shenyang/China
Employment – full time

Tasks

- To ensure the proper implementation of all resistant welding, MAG- & Laser welding, gluing & hemming equipment

- Guarantees a stable resistant welding process in the series production

- Follows up and solves problems concerning the all the welding processes

Key Responsibilities

- Gets acquainted with the equipment and processes that will be transferred to the plant

- Carries out the approval of the equipment and the process

- Takes care for the training of the workers on the spot welding process

- Realizes changes concerning the spot welding process in serial production

- Follows up and solves problems concerning the spot welding process in serial production

- Ensures a stable process by monitoring failures and optimizing the equipment and process together with the maintenance

- Is in permanent contact with the members of the joining technology in the center

- Is responsible for the product quality coming out of the production line as far as it is influenced by the spot welding process

Qualifications

- University degree / graduated in electrics, welding technology

- Knowledge of welding technology

- Knowledge of material science

- Knowledge of weld guns

- Skills with robot programming

- Knowledge of English language

- Proficient German would be an advantage

- Experience with automated car production would be an advantage, 4-6 years

- Experience with control technology, 1-3 years

- Experience with BMW standard, 1-3 years
