Advanced Specialist EHS

Employment – full time

Tasks

- Assist EHS manager to ensure the compliance to national laws, regulations with respect to safety, health and environmental protection from construction and production in workshop and plant

- Analysis and evaluation of safety, health and environmental management processes for all activities in workshop and plant

- Initiation of corrective actions / support solving of problems related to EHS management

Key Responsibilities

- Support department managers with EHS management in Tiexi Body Shop

- Take the leading management on contractors, supplier, PCM and Jianli etc on site

- Coordinate and assist other EHS specialists for EHS management implementation as required

- Mainly responsible for ISO14001/OHSAS18001 system management and ensure BMW Brilliance can pass the internal and external audit smoothly

- Identify EHS hazards and risks within plant and make sure potential occupational disease and hazards are evaluated and controlled

- Act as the key person to participate in the EHS meeting and compile/ follow up the record/actions

- Organize and develop all kinds of EHS activities to promote EHS culture establishment under direction of EHS manager

- Conduct inspections to assess EH&S performance against requirements

- Assist with injury prevention & accident investigation efforts; Report and find the root cause to avoid the similar accident with efficient countermeasures

- Develop and optimize safety operational standards for the department

Qualifications

- University degree / graduated in Safety or Environmental preferred

- Excellent knowledge in environmental protection, safety, industry hygiene

- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization

- Strong leadership quality and influence management skills

- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Good English command both in written and spoken

- EHS experience, 4-6 years
