Advanced Specialist Cubing, Geometrical Integration

Employment – full time

Tasks

- During car development there are cubing events for every build phase

- The goal is to evaluate the parts quality (Interior and Exterior) with regard to dimensional, visual, functional, qualitative requirements and installation-capability to ensure launch maturity of the vehicles in each build phase for new products and product changes

Key Responsibilities

- Create detailed Cubing event time plan

- Steer the parts ordering process regarding build list

- Sent out invitation letter (18 weeks, 6 weeks before event)

- Coordinate and lead the Cubing event

- Prepare and hold final presentation for project management

- Problem documentation

- Geometrical integration analysis Frontend/Rearend and problem solving

- Monitor PQM status in EK area before SOP

- ATG check in Frontend/Rearend

- Interior and exterior parts validation

Qualifications

- Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical with very good theoretical background or qualification acquired in a similar position

- Knowledge of complete vehicle validation

- Knowledge of geometrical integration problem analysis

- Knowledge of Cubing process

- Knowledge of CATIA, Visview and BMW analysis tools

- Knowledge of CMM measurement

- Competency of steering problem solving team

- Proficiency with MS office

- Proficiency with English spoken and written, German would be an advantage

- Skills of driving, communication and cooperation

- Background in automotive production, development, 1-3 years

- Experience with Cubing event, 1-3 years

- Driving experience, 1-3 years

- Experience with quality problem solving , 1-3 years
