Assistant Manager Foreign Exchange Administration

Employment – full time

Tasks

- Steer the overall corporate FX business operation to ensure the proper implementation of the related SAFE policies/regulations to keep compliance

- Assist and deeply involved in bank partner and SAFE officer's support to the relevant business departments (both export and import) in the company and provide related SAFE knowledge and FX payment and collection process consulting and training, including Aftersales Department, Purchasing Dep. GF project team and NSC colleagues, etc.

- Steer FX exposure management with total 2.45 billion EUR in 2012 and 12.08 billion EUR from 2013 to 2015 (within 36 month tenors) to ensure properly control company's FX risk

- Monitor foreign exchange market, collect FX information from financial institutions, make some simulation analysis for FX hedging transaction based on the recommendation from BMW Group to propose BMW Brilliance Automotive FX strategy to BMW Brilliance Automotive Foreign Exchange Committee

- Execute BMW Brilliance Automotive FX strategy approved by FEC to ensure FX cost fixed in time accordingly

- Retain a very sound relationship with Central SAFE and SAFE Liaoning Branch to ensure corporate business smoothly going

Key Responsibilities

- Research and develop all bank partners to launch or promote current FX hedging process to ensure FX business accuracy and higher efficiency

- Hedging Contract negotiation with banks and regularly review. Monthly FX hedging situation report and analysis

- Follow up with AG and FF-6 FX strategy recommendation and make simulation analysis. Update exposure and make hedging transaction with banks according to the decided FX strategy

- Monitor daily FX quotation collection from banks, make record and compare them by documentation

- Negotiate and monitor hedging price and prepare hedging transaction voucher to banks while hedging is made

- Follow up with the SAFE policy, monitor regulation distribution and keep compliance with SAFE policy

- Participate the financial training for financial process and related policy and regulation to internal relevant business department and give support on SAFE regulation to ensure the business keep compliance

- Monitor export process and FX collection, deliver latest SAFE regulations and provide necessary consultancy

- Provide working guidance to team members and make portfolio and probation evaluation for team members

- Monitor team jobs and open issues. Support treasury manager and cooperate internal department colleagues to complete related job

- Retain the strategy relationship with all bank partners and SAFE authorities to ensure corporate business smoothly going

- With the guide from treasury manager, work out and enhance treasury team's working process and implement it to ensure company's treasury safety and work efficiency

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or above degree, graduated from accredited university

- Majored in economics, finance or accounting

- Acquisition of Accounting Certificate

- Knowledge of accounting, economic and international trade & finance

- Knowledge of treasury, in terms of funding, trade financing and international finance, etc.

- Knowledge of ERP system (especially SAP) and financial settlement system (such as Band EDI, E-port or comparable systems)

- Knowledge of leadership skills

- Proficiency with accounting, tax, financing knowledge and SAFE policy

- Good interpersonal skills

- Competency of communication and negotiation with both internal and external business partner and authorities

- Proficient in English both verbal and writing

- Background in accounting and finance area, 7-10 years

- Experience with a big foreign-invested industrial enterprise or relevant financial institutions, 7-10 years

- Several years experience in management position, 4-6 years
