Senior Specialist Quality Inspection

Employment – full time

Tasks

To build a planning team for the establishment of a new low-pressure permanent mold foundry in China, process and facility planners are needed

Key Responsibility

- Make sure the conformity of production process to all essential requirements that are given from outside (governmental rules, certifications)

- Implement Quality Management System (QMS) with all its characteristics

- Plan and conduct internal process audits. Feedback the results to management

- Quality target monitoring and steering the Target Monitoring Process (TMP)

- Lead, actively support and complete investigations to identify root causes when quality problems are found within the casting process

- Record quality problems and resolution activities in line with the requirements of the

- Quality Management Handbook and ensure measures of control are in place so that problem rectification is fully sustainable

- Generate regular quality information showing trends in faults being generated or found

- Provide Trainings to ensure skills are in place so that response time to emergency issues is to a minimum and negative impact to the business related to quality is minimized

- Manage and maintain system data at all times to ensure records are up to date at all times and adhere to all

- Develop and enhance methods, tools and solutions to avoid and detect faults

Qualification

- Master degree / graduated in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing

- Ability to work on own initiative

- Able to make decisions on use of material and conformity of engines to support production

- Fundamental understanding of engineering principles (e.g. Measurement, manufacturing, quality, etc.)

- Ability to communicate with all areas of production and other areas of BBT-A when required

- Highly developed communication skills in a multi-cultural working environment, Competence to motivate and co-ordinate people and mobilize resources to achieve desired results.

- Proficient English, German would be an advantage

- Background in high volume automotive industry, 7-10 years

- Experience with engine manufacturing, 4-6 years

- Several years experience in systematic analyzing and resolving technical issues, 4-6 years

- Experience with quality management, 4-6 years
