Advanced Specialist Functional Integration Dynamics

Tasks

- Functional integration of all driving dynamics systems and alignment with the overall vehicle performance characteristics

- Development and validation of dynamic handling characteristics to ensure the achievement of objectives and customer requirements

Key Responsibility

- Functional integration of all driving dynamics systems and harmonization with the overall vehicle performance characteristics, under consideration of all influencing parameters to driving dynamics to realize optimal performance to customer requirements

- Planning, executing, commissioning and documentation of procedures for the functional development of driving dynamics in assigned vehicle projects

- Assessment of the potential of individual systems in terms of effectiveness and suitability for series production (sustainable customer benefit) in terms of achievement of all requirements

- Perform vehicle tests, organize vehicle testing sessions as required throughout China

- Early identification and display of functional interactions, potential risks and conflicts in the design process and initiating the corresponding need for action

Qualification

- Degreed Engineer in "Automotive or Mechanical Engineering" or similar

- English language knowledge

- Project management skills

- Structured mode of operation

- One's own initiative and self-motivation

- Communication ability

- High flexibility in a high dynamic environment

- Expert and process knowledge in Vehicle & Driving Dynamics

- Professional experience in the automotive industry with training, knowledge and skills in at least one driving dynamics system, 4-6 years

- Excellent driving and overall vehicle evaluation skill of motor vehicles up to and beyond the car's handling limits, 1-3 years

- Sound knowledge about various influencing parameters and their effects on vehicle dynamics, also about the effects of multiple interactions, 1-3 years

- Several years of practical experience in the field of driving dynamics and possibly in project management, sound knowledge of the BMW processes, 1-3 years

- Good network inside of BMW AG, thereby focus on E and EF as the most important
