Tasks

Design and development of vehicle concepts concerning acoustics and vibration comfort - from concept to series support for all vehicle product lines. Consider all relevant conflicting goals in system design. Apply modern analytical tools to test and analyze. Technical and procedural expert

Key Responsibility

- Conducts vibration and acoustic comfort goals of the total vehicle and systems considering costs, weight and available space across divisions and is responsible for their consistency

- Developing innovative total vehicle concepts and controls their implementation into the KIFA (body, interior, running gear, drive)

- Controls and is responsible for complex mathematical MKS and FE studies on the oscillation and acoustic tuning of the entire vehicle

- Organizes adapted tests for the specific problem also in collaboration with external development partners

- Monitoring the compliance of targets through simulation, testing and subjective assessment. Derives measures in cooperation with other departments in case of deviation from target.

- Conceptualizes new measurement and calculation procedures and ensures their use in the development process

- Management of various development teams

Qualification

- University degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering or physics with a focus on mechanics

- CAE skills

- Measurement technology

- Technical English

- Team-oriented, communicative, assertive, self-critical, willing to change, predictable, convincing and decisive, analytical and communicative

- Theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of acoustics and vibration technology,1-3 years

- Professional experience in test and / or calculation acoustics and oscillations,1-3 years
