Senior Specialist Change Control

Corporate Division Powertrain

Oivision, located in Shenyang/China

Employment – full time

Tasks

- To implement product changes, including those from product launch or individual component changes to complete new engine introduction or technical updates

- The primary objective is to manage change without detrimental effect to the daily operation of the business

Key Responsibilities

- Completion of change related activities to ensure deliverables on-time and without disruption to production

- Evaluation of Product Engineering requests to identify those relevant and applicable to the engine plant, subsequent distribution of relevant changes to Change Team interfaces in the engine plant, then introduction of the change.

- Close working with vehicle plants for co-ordinate changes that need to be synchronized

- Close working with logistics to optimize stock holding and minimize obsolescence costs for new change introduction

Qualifications

- University degree / graduated in engineering (automotive/engine)

- Project management skills

- Thorough understanding of engine components

- Very strong developed communication skills

- Awareness of health, safety and environmental issues relevant to the area of responsibility

- Experience of working both cross-function and internationally

- English and German language skills

- Knowledge of BMW and BMW Brilliance Automotive China business processes , 1-3 years

- Project management skills, 4- 6 years
