Advanced Specialist Virtual Geometric Validation

Tasks

Management of the interdisciplinary virtual geometric validation process (Team VGA)

Key Responsibility

- To ensure the static and dynamic absence of collisions by using data processing program

- To monitor the requirements for the virtual fleet and active control of fleet changes /additions to validate complex conceptual topics and to ensure the maturity

- Reporting on the status of the virtual VGA total vehicles concerning the geometric consistency in project steering groups and reviews

- Processing of all assigned concept GG / GI issues

- To introduce cross-project issues in the CoC

Qualification

- University degree in engineering or Industrial engineering or a comparable qualification

- Assessment skills for technical solutions

- Knowledge of the BMW development processes

- Fluent in English

- Teamwork and communication skills, analytical thinking skills, structured approach, willingness to work abroad

- Fluent in German

- Experience in total vehicle projects,1-3years

- Project and project management experience,1-3years

- Experience in organizing and moderation of interdisciplinary teams,1-3years

- Experience with CA-methods (CATIA V5) and tools (VCM / Modula), MS Office,1-3years
