Our Client is a market research provider dedicated to improve premium and luxury brands’ retail performance by creating long-term relationships and focusing on excellence of execution.
With over 230 full time employees throughout 15 countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle-east and the Americas, He has gained a solid expertise and reputation in assisting premium and luxury brands to develop their service quality and affluent consumer insights.
His Head Office currently in Shanghai provides the direction and the management support functions to his commercial and operations functions worldwide.
Both long term strategy as well as near term project management are required to drive a talent vision, infrastructure and roadmap for our rapid geographic expansion and thriving network of Business Units. To this end he requires a:
Global Talent Manager
In this newly created position, you are tasked to partner with senior managers and local managers to develop, recommend and implement a set of talent principles and priorities to fuel this growth and enable our business strategy.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to our Head, Human Resources and Administration, you are mainly responsible to:
- Lead, drive and align the execution and integration of global talent acquisition, development, reward and retention programs and practices adapted to local business realities and culture;
- Support and advice BU Managers to drive employee engagement and a high performance, result oriented culture;
- Develop, recommend and implement remedial actions and timely contingencies where gaps exist or unforeseen development occurs; be the corporate point of contact for BUs on HR related matters and processes.
Requirements:
You bring to this position a highly-organized, service-oriented, problem-solving, multi-tasking set of skills and inclinations; you are at ease within multi-level, complex and multi-cultural interactions; and used to thrive in a dynamic, fast-pace and high-pressure environment. You support all of this with:
- A graduate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Psychology from a recognized Western university, ideally one of Europe’s Grande école program.
- At least 5 years in proven and related HR role(s) in an international corporate environment, with at least one proven recruitment and one supervisory assignment.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching, facilitation and communications skills
- Proficiency in written and oral English, with a second European language a definite advantage, French a plus.
