Our client is a market research provider dedicated to improve premium and luxury brands’ retail performance by creating long-term relationships and focusing on excellence of execution.
With over 230 full time employees throughout 15 countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle-east and the Americas, he has gained a solid expertise and reputation in assisting premium and luxury brands to develop their service quality and affluent consumer Insights.
In addition to feedback provided by his Store Performance Division he is also retained to extend his service solutions to feed forward, future directed measures and controls to anticipate problems and to enable leading consumer experiences; to enhance the capabilities of his clients’ retail organization with effective and impactful training solutions. To this end he currently requires a training professional to design and lead his retail solutions delivery in the quality of:
Global Training Manager - Luxury Retail Solutions
Responsibilities:
In this role you are tasked to partner and work closely with the retail leadership team of our clients to assess needs, execute optimal learning solutions and deliveries. The position is based in Head Office currently in Shanghai and is mainly responsible to:
· Be the corporate point of contact for all of our Business Units worldwide to lead and direct these post-diagnostic solution offerings.
· Maintain close alignment with our commercial chain of command to ensure the integrity, consistency and quality of our clients’ training solutions and deliveries.
- Design, develop, rollout, monitor effectiveness and report on progress of training offerings to our clients’ frontline employees that drive results and deliver exceptional service to their customers.
- Lead, direct and liaise with an internal and external network of freelance subject-matter experts to deliver training.
- Work directly with clients to conduct needs assessments including research, focus groups, document reviews and telephone interviews.
Requirements:
You bring to this position a highly-organized, service-oriented, problem-solving, multi-tasking set of skills and inclinations; you are at ease within multi-level, complex and multi-cultural interactions; and used to thrive in a dynamic, fast-pace and high-pressure environment. You are passionate and dedicated to continuous learning and education and you support all of this with:
- A graduate degree in Education, Psychology or Business Administration from a recognized Western university, ideally one of Europe’s Grande école program.
- Up to 10 years of progressively responsible retail training experience in regional or global delivery models, preferably in high-end premium, luxury products or services.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching, facilitation and communications skills, helping your trainees get set up, get trained, and get going.
- Proven and demonstrable knowledge of instructional design process and adult learning theory.
- Ability to anticipate, prevent and proactively remove roadblocks across teams or during projects to meet quality standards, project milestones, and business objectives.
- Poficiency in written and oral English, with a second European language a definite advantage, French a plus.
