· Support systems and applications for the end-user community
· Provide on-call support for user community, from ordering and installing systems to resolving application and hardware issues
· Evaluate and implement software applications and hardware solutions
· Monitor and maintain critical systems, from network switches to video conferencing units
· Collaborate in the design and deployment of highly available services
· Plan for and implement capacity changes
· Coordinate project activities with staff and team members
· Participate in and lead project reviews
· Provide on-boarding services to new hires, to include computer provisioning and system training
· Support facilities related requests; set up workstations, restock supplies, engage maintenance teams

Basic Qualifications
· At least 3 years of hands-on professional experience in system administration and desktop support
· Must be able to support a medium sized community of Windows and Mac laptop users
· Experience deploying and maintaining UNIX/LINUX and Windows servers
· Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, LDAP, system performance analysis, security, storage architecture and design of common network services
· Experience/Knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2003 administration and Active Directory
· Strong knowledge of VoIP phone systems and H.323-based Video Conferencing
· The ideal candidate is mature, self-motivated and able to work well in a fast-paced group environment, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
· Excellent judgment, organizational and problem solving skills
· BA/BS in computer science or engineering degree.
· Networking experience with CCNA and/or Network+/MCSE certifications is a plus.
