Tasks

Logistics processes and equipment planning to support long term logistics strategies covering budget, manpower and structure

Key Responsibility

- Logistics processes and equipment planning to support long term logistics strategies

- Structural, financial and manpower requirements to meet defined processes.

- Vendor, contract and supplier evaluation and selection

- Process measures and project target definition and agreement

- Project timing and resource allocation

- Definition of support processes (IT. Assembly, machining, Quality, etc.) to ensure alignment with logistics processes

- Process development through application of FMEA techniques

- Developing and optimising required logistics concepts in line with project requirements (timing / cost) and often changing assumptions

- Create proposals for the approval of necessary funding

Qualification

- University degree / graduated in engineering

- Excellent knowledge of logistical material flow planning techniques

- Extensive knowledge of storage area techniques as well material handlings and transport technology

- Adoption and use of planning and evaluation procedures (e.g. EM-Plant, MALAGA etc.)

- Highly developed communication skills

- Team and individual development, management and leadership

- Project management skills

- Awareness of health, safety and environmental issues relevant to the area of responsibility

- Experience of working both cross-function and internationally

- English and German language skills
