BU Description
CIO (Chief Information Office) CDL team was built in 2003, and now is one of key CIO business transformation development teams in WW. The team committed to build applications by leveraging leading-edge technology, products and services to yield innovation that matters. With 10 years' growth, now the team has 100+ regular employees, 20+ contractor resources and also gives functional directions to 80+ out-sourcing resources. While the majority team members are located in Beijing, CIO CDL team also has web developers in Ningbo and data developers in Xi'an. This team owns development ownership of several business critical applications of CIO, and is still growing its team size and senior positions per CIO global resource strategy.
CIO CDL team is under CDL (China Development Lab) umbrella. By taking advantage of CDL's strong technical background and culture, this team pursues to deliver CIO business solutions with higher quality, productivity in innovative way.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure project delivery schedule and quality. Lead a team to complete the software development project tasks or exhibiting technical leadership in specific areas.
- Set clear performance expectation, develop talents and senior technical people, coordinate with WW team and keep tracking project progress.
- Provide frequent and clear feedback to each employee
- Commit to attaining a positive organizational climate
- Recruit new talents when needed
- Work closely with different solution development teams in different locations, time zones.
- Identify any inefficiencies in Process within the project and Propose appropriate solutions
- Build and manage good relationship with WW labs
- Build customer insight within team
Job Requirements (skills/experiences/Qualifications)
- At least 8 years experience in IT industry.
- At least 3 years solid experience at a department management/project management position in the multinational company.
- Solid understanding of large scale enterprise software development process
- Excellent communication skills, both in Chinese and English
- Excellent negotiation, coaching skills
- Good project management skill
- Proficiency in Java EE application development
- Familiar with Windows, AIX/Unix and Linux platform.
- Strong leadership, self-motivated, quick learner and with strong problem solving ability
- Passionate to software development. An independent, assertive, creative, dynamic and flexible approach is required,

Others as plus:
- Work experience in large-scale foreign company
