Purpose
In order to ensure compliance with the laws and the consistent with development and business on finance transaction, policy and process, based on vision, mission and business strategy and the guidance of Global Finance.
Great China CFO is to conduct a strategic role in the overall management of the Group in Greater China Region, and to have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the Regional HQ ( China) and the Group companies in China including accounting, finance, budget control, forecasting, strategic planning, Tax, Internal control, property management, deal analysis and negotiations.
Responsibility
1. Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
2. Ensures credibility of Finance function by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts for Greater China sites.
3. Directs and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the regional HQ and the Group companies.
4. Evaluates and advises on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
5. Be fully involved in the SAP implementation project over the region leading optimization of the back office functions in local entities.
6. Ensures and improve finance and accounting processes (within and outside SAP)
7. Manages processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the regional and Global HQ.
8. Organize treasury and working capital management for group entities under supervision of Global Headquarters
9. Provides financial and commercial support for sales activities of big projects.
10. Establishes and maintains strong relationships with business executives to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
11. Analyze and report business performance in association with business people, and provides executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
12. Provides recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
13. Ensures that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with internal codes and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
14. Cooperating with the Global HQ, implement and enforce global group policies and requirements in the responsible field to all group sites in the region as regional head
Requirments
1. Bachelor degree with major in finance, accounting, or economy. Preferably with MBA degree
2. ? More than 20 years of experience in financial area.
? More than 10 years of experience of management roles in multinational manufacturing companies (chemical industry is more preferable)
? Experience in business process reengineering/restructuring
3. ? Strong leadership in the field and for change management
? Excellent analytical and organization skills
? Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations.
4. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
? Excellent in communication in English.
5. High level knowledge of international finance, accounting and tax regulations, such as IFRS, transfer pricing rules, etc.
? Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications, especially in ERP systems (SAP is preferable).
