Duties:

· Design innovative solutions that fully meet customers’ business objectives whilst creating a memorable and engaging experience for users of their products.

· Oversee UI/UX project which is a Big Data Analytics Platform and will work alongside a team of stakeholders, business systems analysts and developers to guide the design process from start to finish.

· Conduct user research in order to gain an understanding of customer requirements and create storyboards, sitemaps and presentations to communicate these needs to the team.

Requirements:

· Bachelor degree or above in Design/Human-computer Interaction/Cognitive Science or related disciplines

· Bachelor degree with 6+ years’ relevant experience; Master degree with 3+ years’ experience; less experience for PhD holder. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Engineer.

· Experience working as a UX designer, information architect, visual designer, interaction designer or user interface designer.

· Experience in end-to-end design process of large-scale projects with heavily used applications, including customer service tools and enterprise software.

· Experience of creating wireframes and low-fidelity and high-fidelity interactive prototypes using standard tools of the design trade, such as Omnigraffle, Visio and Balsamiq.

· Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (vector graphics) & Photoshop (bitmap graphics) is a plus

· Possess fantastic communication skills, an innovative approach and the ability to inspire developers and architects with creative vision.

· Organized and self-motivated, coupled with the ability to see all projects through to completion.

· Experience with agile software development methodologies and frameworks such as SCRUM, Test-Driven Development, is a plus.

· Excellent command of English, fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus.

Candidates with the following capability/experience will be considered with higher priority:

· Proven knowledge of design trends, patterns, and usability.

· Front-end prototyping experience using HTML5, CSS, DOM-scripting, JavaScript, JQuery, knowledge in server-side scripting with JSP/Python/PHP etc

· Experience with procedural graphics (Canvas, SVG) and implementing user interfaces

· Android & iOS device application development experience

Appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical and dental benefits, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work under a five-day week schedule.
