Job Specifications:
1. Bachelor/Master degree in Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemical Engineering;
2. Strong engineering background;
3. Polymer/adhesive properties & application knowledge are required;
4. Ability to work effectively on a team; self-directed and motivated; strong interpersonal skills-communication, influencing and negotiating skills;
5. Good multi-functional skills;
6. Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, statistical analysis tool like Minitab;
7. Positive, team work , independent & self-discipline;
8. Good communication in both English and Chinese;

Job Summary

Supports activities required to develop new Chemicals through timely documentation, process analysis & improvement, defect analysis, and other technical support. Participate in projects to improve Chemicals , from concept until production implementation.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Factory based global role - set up adhesive relevant process & quality control system & consolidate them in Knowles global.

2. Supports activities relevant to adhesives & chemicals required to develop new products & new process through timely project & process analysis, defect analysis, improvements, offering solution and other technical supports;

3. Collaborate with PE, QA & MFG, supporting to set up adhesive relevant process & quality control system & consolidate all adhesive relevant system in Knowles global;

4. Adhesive study & innovation based on Knowles product design & process;

5. In adhesive level, support of New Product Engineering & new process projects through the use of design-to-cost principles, design for manufacturability;

6. Maintain current knowledge and skills of the latest technologies;

7. Other tasks that Supervisor assigned
