Principal Responsibilities
1. Be responsible for study technical improvements of the machines, study new solutions to solve existing problems, improve efficiency, study automatisation, noisy insulaton, dust protection, safety improvements.
2. Study the installation of new machine, from design to start-up, directly or with help of external contractors. To be responsible of the full project management, coordinating supporting departments such as purchasing.
3. Validate the preventive maintenance plan for utilities and all machines, study the maintenance problems and propose solutions; after approval, be responsible for the full and timely implementation. Maintain and update relevant documents.
4. Technical support to Production, Maintenance, Purchasing.
5. Arrange specific training of the technicians and workers for new machines, toolings, if necessary.
6. Ensure that all the directives, safety rules and company policies in engineering are implemented, including contractors.
7. Be responsible for utilities maintenance.
8. Give technical support for mould modification and repairing, when necessary.
Personal Requirements
1. University degree in an engineering discipline (preferably electrical or mechanical);
2. Experience in utilities, like transformers, boilers, generators essential;
3. Knowledge of injection/extrusion molding process a strong advantage;
4. Good understanding of HSE and 5S practices and principles;
5. An independent, hands-on, detail oriented person with strong interpersonal, communicational, organizational and analytical skills, and be able to develop teamwork spirit;
6. Able to motivate his team, teach workers, result oriented with attention to the deadlines;
7. High level of computer literacy;
8. Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin essential;

The right candidate have a solid technical background, together with a practical experience and problem-solving skills. The working environment is a growing plastic factory, where it’s necessary to work on new installations as well on the reliability of the existing production lines.
We are looking for candidate able to understand current practices, plan improvements and make sure they are executed well and timely, able to work under stress and tight deadlines when necessary.
