The Clariant International Graduate Program (CIGP) is a 24-month program, divided into four six-month modules, designed to attract outstanding Ph.D. or Master graduates in chemistry, engineering or business studies. The program is based on the rotation principle with clearly defined projects, and you will gain a broad overview of the Group and be trained to become a potential leader. You will have the opportunity to spend six months abroad, where you can refine and expand your linguistic and intercultural skills.

We have openings now in:

Chemical R&D
1. PhD in Organic Chemistry (Polymer Chemistry) or equivalent experience (experience as Postdoc desirable)
2. Fluent English language skills for oral and written communication, other languages welcome (tbd according to origin)
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, networker, creative, striving for new experiences
4. Project management experience desired
5. High level of independency, good team-building skills and a high level of self-motivation
6. Desire to change job positions in various technical functions and sites in the first two years of the assignment


Strategic Procurement
1. Completed master’s degree in business administration, awarded by a well-known university
2. Excellent university track record substantiated by grades
3. Fluent in English and possibly other languages
4. Outstanding analytical, conceptual, communicative skills
5. High degree of mobility and flexibility. Openness to international travel or em-ployment inside Clariant


Graduates for Clariant Talent Bank
1. Completed PhD /master’s degree in chemistry, engineering or business studies
