Job Description for purchase Buyer

- To make PO after clearance from lead Project Buyer.

- Obtain PO Signature from all authorities and forward copies to Accounts/Master file.

- Send PO to vendor and obtain acknowledgement.

- To prepare PO Approval Form and get it cleared form concerned.

- Preparation of Payment advise and obtain signature from concerned and forward copies to accounts after making entry in PA register& PO file,

- Updating cost to complete Budget Vs. PO amount.

- Updating of payments release to suppliers in the payment advise file.

- Keeping track of vendor bills/payment.

- Price working for fabricated items.

- Maintenance of ISO record.

- Generation of various reports based on available data.

- Scrutiny of requisitions and all attachments.

- Commercial evaluation & negotiations with suppliers.

- Monitoring manufacturing progress.

- Expediting of materials for Inspection/dispatch as per Project schedule

- Dispatch & Shipping management.

- To arrange/attend supplier interface meetings with various departments when required.

- Maintaining healthy relationship with the suppliers.

Qualification require

- Well-organized, handle miscellaneous work in an efficiently way.

- Responsible, good follow-up sense with various parties and vendors.

- Good computer skills especially in Excel

- Careful, accurate in document preparation and checking

- Team work spirit, coordinate with various parties closely

- Purchasing experiences preferred.

- Mechanical engineering background preferred.
