职位描述

Must have the sales experience in solar cell manufacturing with technical background.

Job Purpose

· To lead and develop sales channels and brand awareness within DEK in Greater China territory.

· To develop and implement Value Creation selling strategies for profitable and sustainable sales growth in line with company goals.

· To lead and coach key staff to ensure effective management and provide for the development of people throughout the organization.

Role Requirements:

· To develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the continued sales and profit growth in line with group targets. All capital equipment sales, recurring revenue, marketing and distribution.

· In conjunction with direct regional sales persons:

o manage distributors, agents and sales representatives;
o lead marketing/ promotional activities to ensure market potential is maximised;
o expand the Company’s customer base as a potential source of new business; and
o develop business with new Tier 1 / 2 solar companies

· Working closely with operations manager to achieve on time delivery, quality standards and operational excellence.

· Through the Customer Support Manager, lead and develop the Customer Services activities towards becoming a profit centre of World Class after-market support

· Jointly participate with the CTO, to create opportunities to develop Innovative Solutions to enhance customer’s competitive advantage with fair price

· To lead and motivate the extended team instilling a highly proactive and focussed approach to winning business, ensuring a results-driven culture is central to the people management philosophy.

· Work with the regional Financial Controller, manage all financial elements of the business. Prepare the annual business plan and associated budget forecasts.

· Manage key customer relationships to ensure customer service and increased sales.

· Schedule and conduct regular staff and partner meetings. Audit and monitor the activities to ensure the business is providing optimum services levels. Give work direction to the entire team, including prioritising activities.

· To be an active member of the DEK Alternative Energy leadership team, supporting global initiatives.

· Provide monthly and quarterly management reports and annual presentation focusing on agreed forecast and KPI’s.

· To develop quality measures, performance criteria and reporting processes throughout the job holder’s responsibilities that support continuous improvement and a quality culture.

Personal Requirements:

· Qualified ideally to graduate level in preferably a business related discipline or have successfully undertaken studies in a sales or business development post completion of their higher-education curriculum.

· Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years successfully managing and leading a small to medium sized team (minimum of 10 staff) in preferably the capital equipment or consumables production and sales sectors.

· Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ experience successfully operating in a key account or direct sales role.

· Possess a good working knowledge of the solar manufacturing industry together with process, service and product appreciation.

· Demonstrate competence in the following general people management aptitudes/skills: -

o Leadership
o Negotiation
o Communications, both written and oral
o Interpersonal
o Presentation

· Experience of communicating successfully with customers, 3rd party contacts, and co-workers globally.


· Demonstrate a good track record of managing and implementing change.


· Demonstrate an ability to work well (e.g. consistently meeting set and agreed deadlines) in pressurised situations.


· Demonstrate competence in the following personal management aptitudes/ skills: -

o Planning

o Co-ordinating a variety of tasks

o Monitoring/ analysing and management reporting

o Time management.

· Demonstrate a sound understanding of the financial aspects of running a successful business - able to interpret standard financial data and demonstrate a track record of taking appropriate business related decisions based on this information.


· Experience of working successfully in a matrix organisation and an ability to prioritise a variety of initiatives would be a distinct advantage.

· Able and willing to travel extensively nationally and internationally.


· Fluent speaking and writing in Chinese and English mandatory.
