The mention position will be reporting to Senior Management, the incumbent will supervise a design team to manage the overall design function.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

• Managing the overall design functions of the assigned product line (Menswear), includes conducting market trend research, developing collection architecture including theme, color, fabrication, finishing, styles, price point and also fashion graphic, etc.
• Developing & merchandising the collection based on a clear understanding of commercial market trends and sales history of different markets.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Fashion Design or related disciplines;
• Over 12 years experience in designing and product development of comprehensive product range, preferably well-versed in knits and woven items;
• Experience in formal menswear design, prefer gained from retailer;
• At least 5 years experience in leading a design team, exposure in fashion graphic and accessories design are essential;
• Understand market trends, lifestyles and customer needs for both HK and overseas markets;
• With strong passion on fashion, good fashion sense, color matching and fabric knowledge;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese & Putonghua;
• Sound PC knowledge and well-versed in Illustrator & Photoshop

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Chief Designer
