A well established trading firm is looking for qualified person to join us:

Assistant Merchandiser (General Consumer products)

Requirements:

College or above,

At least 1 to 2 merchandising experience (Fresh graduated is welcome)

Possess strong management skill and detail oriented mindset

Experience on handling wide variety of general consumption products such as stationery, sporting goods, packaging products, flooring, metal box, plastic immediate parts....etc

With prior experience on working in Bamboo flooring business will be an advantage. (Must state in your resume as we will consider it first)

With knowledge of North American market

Familiar with the safety and compliance requirement for large retail chain stores

Mature, with positive thinking and good leadership skill but also to be a good team player

Hardworking, self motivated, self organized, responsible. Overtime work is required

Fluent in English

Good computer skill such as excel and word

Your Duties:

Sourcing/auditing new factories and processing the new factory selection.

Order follow up till bulk shipment, ensure on time delivery

Based in Hong Kong office but China trip is required (such as Canton Fair, Bringing customer to China factories for site visit)

Daily communication with our oversea sales/factories/packaging vendors about new project development, shipment schedule, quotation sheets, inspection status and factory audit.

Showroom set up for presentation

Prepare both internal and external sales quotation

Price negotiation with factories

Supervising the China team members

Any other ad hoc project assigned by the Manager
