ABOUT THE JOB
Good marketing need strong glocal (Global + Local) approach. A strong leader with truly believe in IKEA value, strong leadership and communication competence, rich local market insight and IKEA way of marketing will help local store to understand local consumers deeply and catch local opportunity mostly. This leader will also contribute to national marketing strategy and investment plan to the local market to secure best ROI.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Working as a key member of store SMG, LMM is responsible for bringing relevant local input to the yearly store business plan, with the different aspects of creating trust and understanding in IKEA as well as communicating the offer. Sharing and working on the national marketing strategies, active integration and communication in the store management group is also required to secure close co-operation and good execution. LMM is responsible for securing the total marketing approach in the PMA – from analyze to plan to action and follow-up.
LMM is also a strong dialogue partner with SO Marketing, through contribution to the national marketing with local knowledge.
Your tasks will include:
Functionally lead, develop and mange the local market department
· Duty One: Recruit functional responsible in local market department with SO marketing support
· Duty Two: Work with SO marketing team to develop local market team members with good competence development
Secure good understanding of market and IKEA marketing in local store
· Duty One: Sharing market analysis and insight in SMG and commercial group and organization
· Duty Two: Update external communication content and plan in local organization for good preparation and contribution
Strengthen and safe guard the IKEA brand image in local market
· Duty One: Secure the IKEA values is reflected in all of our activities and communication
· Duty Two: Secure good visual and copy identity of IKEA brand
Attract visitors to local store
· Duty One: Develop and activate local marketing plan based on national and local commercial calendar
· Duty Two: Communicate the offers to local consumers via local marketing tools
Help SO marketing and store develop (contribute to the development of IKEA China)
· Duty One: Contribute to SO marketing on how to improve use of marketing mix with local knowledge
· Duty Two: Bring relevant input to the yearly store and marketing business plan, with the different aspects of creating trust and understanding IKEA as well as communicating the offer.
Good budget planning and follow up
· Duty One: Manager the local marketing budget and ensure the follow up on the ROI on all projects
· Duty Two: Safeguard the central investment in local market (Multilogue distribution, PR, research etc)
