MANAGER - Technical & commercial & MID TABLET & SMART Technology related products
* Job Summary
The Techno commercial with graduation in Engineering or similar Field . He shall lead in exploring, initiating, developing new Technology ,source, validating opportunities in cost innovation and other supply chain & Technology related opportunities. The individual in this role will act as the technical interface between suppliers and development / manufacturing engineers to determine new and alternate sources. He should have in depth Technical & commercial Knowledge for TABLET /MID/ Smart Products.
* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Explore new source for existing product category & compare in term of Quality, Price, Lead time, opportunity to find out business opportunity . .
2. Explore source for new technology products & make strategic map to find out business opportunity. .
3. Review supplier’s processes and identify improvement opportunities in processes and systems at supplier locations to improve quality, cost and flow of supplied materials throughout the entire supply chain .
4. Work with New Product Development (NPD) teams to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering requirements and that all expectations are communicated effectively to supporting suppliers. ……………. ……….……………..
5. Use project management skills and tools to investigate alternate component technologies for reduced cost or improved quality and reliability and implements changes. .
6. Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology. .
7. Conduct supplier system and process audits in compliance with supplier performance and monitoring goals and objectives. .
8. Support day-to-day activities when required like product testing, QC inspection, MIS preparation etc. .
9. Assist with quality problem resolutions .
10. Lead negotiations, process & capacity audits for the assigned commodity & suppliers.
* Preferred:
1. Techno commercial Experience having worked in MID TABLET Industry,, SMART PHONE & smart Products category. .
2. Supplier base knowledge of Tablets & smart product category. .
3. Lean manufacturing and continual process improvement experience .
4. Knowledge of latest t TAB technology, New innovative Chipsets & world class quality techniques and implementation .
5. Experience with FMEA, DOE, SPC
* Qualifications:
Education & Experience: BS in Engineering or Technical Degree with equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years experience . in an engineering discipline with Focus in Techno commercial areas.
* Skills:
1. Good interpersonal, project management and presentation skills with the ability to clearly present recommendations and ideas and to summarize complex issues .
2. Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner .
3. Highly organized self-starter & Team Leader. .
4. Strong analytical skills with ability to solve complex problems and use good judgment .
5. Technical detail-oriented .
6. Demonstrated ability to work in a highly regulated environment .
7. Knowledge of ISO and other recognized international quality system standards .
8. Extensive travelling both domestically and internationally
