Objective | This role consists of providing the first line support for company users for hardware and software, managing the company fixed assets. Assist to manage network and domain environment. | |||
Key Accountabilities | - Provide daily IT help desk support to company staff. - To support software installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting for end-users, including, but not limited to Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, Solidworks, Autocad etc. - Troubleshooting end-user connectivity and application problems. - Execute computer and phone system deployment. - Assist the end-users with email delivery analysis and remediation. - Perform routine printer and copier maintenance. - Participate in system access permission administration. - Assists in security remediation and virus control. - Participate in software license compliance and computer system inventory. - Provide end-user trainings - Assist System Administrator to manage domain and network environment, perform system troubleshooting, and user account management. System backup and hardware/software installation- Manage, develop and maintain the computing platform, networking infrastructure and application systems in line with the company's IT group requirement - Assist IT manager to develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, accuracy and compliance with corporate standards- To complete projects well under project deadlines- Produce IT related document, reports and deliver in-house training | |||
Key Performance Indicators | - Fast effective resolutions to issues and provide detailed feedback to all parties - Come up to speed quickly and work closely with the system administrator and gain in-depth knowledge to our system to assume more responsibility for support. - Suggest and document where and how improvements are needed and give training. | |||
Required Qualifications, Experience & Key Skills | - Bachelor Degree, preferably in computer science or related area - At least 2 year experience in help desk support or system administer - Good team work and ability to work independently. - Familiar Microsoft operating systems and normal IT infrastructure, able to provide professional support to end users and trouble-shoot front-end applications in a fast way - Knowledge of computer hardware and related trouble-shootings. - Knowledge on windows 2008, windows 7, MS Exchange2007 is preferred. Can setup windows 2008 system, familiar with the feature and role definition and installation, have experience on exchange 2007 management is a good plus. -Ability and will to learn new knowledge and system automatically is a good plus -Ability to understand cultural differences, working background in foreign ventures is a good plus -Personal integrity, strong sense of duty and strong team-building spirits, strong loyalty to company -Good communication skills: express ideas and concepts effectively in an appropriate manner to colleagues, supervisors and others both verbal and written -Good spoken English and fluent written English | |||
