Reporting to the Business Manager, you are responsible for developing new customers and business opportunities within our interconnect division. You will work closely with Field Sales, Development Engineering and Customers to indentify connector application requirements and support new product “design ins” resulting in increased sales levels. You will also provide technical support and training to OEM and distribution customers to promote new technology and products.

Duty of Post:

• To provide technical support to customers, sales and distributors
• Work with and influence customers’ new design and interconnect needs
• Keep informed of the latest interconnect technology
• Analyze customer application requirements and communicate with development engineering

to determine project feasibility and product requirements. Typical industries include but are

not limited to solid state lighting, medical device, alternative energy, aerospace, and industrial

control

Your credentials

• Engineering Degree required, preferably mechanical engineering
• 2 to 3 years of experience in technical marketing / sales, preferably related to Electro-mechanical component manufacture. Interconnect experience a plus
• Good command of English language.
• Possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must be customer oriented, goal driven and self motivated.
• Independent and able to work under pressure.
• Willing to travel. Have valid Passport and immediate available are an added advantage
