Lamplight is now seeking for hi-calibers for its Asia Operations team in Shekou, Shenzhen office for below position:
Position: Sr. Quality Technician
Location: Shekou, Shenzhen, China
Key Responsibilities:
1 Visit factory for Quality Inspection, Testing, Pre-Shipment Inspection, consolidate and submit work reports.
2 Perform factory routine testing, documentation audit, etc
3 Raise Corrective Action Request to factory on key findings and follow it up together with team for ensuring timely and satisfactory results;
4 Execute direct manager's instructions and feedback consistently upon query.
5 Ensure suppliers’ compliance to the company’s quality processes, requirements and auditing procedures
6 Control products and process changes throughout products life cycle to assure quality.
7 Collaborating with suppliers and team members to continuously drive product, process and projects improvements
Qualifications & Requirements:
1 5+ years quality experience with mechanical industries, preferably working with US/western companies; Solid skills and knowledge in quality inspection, good at using quality tools such as SPC, FMEA etc
2 Able to positively and effectively influence factories to comply with specifications; Has worked with suppliers on engineering changes to product specifications, relevant experience in audit procedures, product blueprints etc.
3 Flexibility for frequent business travels across China
4 Open, adaptable, good work ethics, teamwork spirit, self motivated, sense of urgency;
5 Good English and communication skills both in writing/speaking, English CET 6 is a plus
6 Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
7 Willing to travel 90% of time
