Objective of job

• Subject-matter-expert in the Regional Compliance Office. Assist the RCO to achieve effectiveness and efficiency in the implementation of the compliance management system in the region.

Qualification required

• Education
• University education required; fluent in English and Mandarin
• Experience
• Advanced experience in compliance related topics; excellent drafting skills in English and Chinese; strong analytical and pretention skills; innovative thinker

Task designation

• Implementation of GC Programs. Act as the regional point of contact in the implementation of programs and initiatives from Group Compliance; collect advice from the LCMs and coordinate the feedback to Group Compliance; design local implementation plans together with the LCMs and make proposals to the RCO; assist the RCO in the regional roll-out.
• BMBS/MBHK Helpdesk. Support the RCO in overseeing the effective implementation of the compliance management system in BMBS and MBHK. Act both as SME and coordinator.
• Reporting. Monitor the status of the implementation of the compliance management system in the region and assist the RCO to prepare reports for the local management teams and Group Compliance.
• Audit Follow-up. Support the RCO in the Corporate Audit related work, e.g. design of audit actions, review the execution and follow up of CA recommendations.
• Projects and Research. Represent Compliance in business projects and provide professional advice, e.g. M&A project, policy and process optimization. Conduct deep-dive research for the purpose of optimization the compliance programs.
• Other projects as assigned by the Regional Compliance Officer from time to time
