Job Responsibilities:
Has a professional knowledge of mechanical design for metal and plastic parts, understand printing / painting.
Has a strong knowledge of quality assurance with respect to general consumer goods, manufacturing process.
Perform in-line and pre-shipment inspections to ensure products meeting the product specifications and quality standards. Conduct supplier's quality performance audits
Assist engineers with product specification and sample evaluations
Make positive and constructive suggestions for product improvement / Innovation / quality improvement.
Evaluate the supplier processes and process controls to ensure product quality and reliability is built in
Act as a consultant to US engineering groups / Supply Chain on design of experiments and the analysis of test data to determine outcome
Coordinate with Customer Order Fulfillment mangers and Supply Chain managers in handling customer complaints, investigating root cause of issues and planning corrective actions(CARs)
Requirements:
BS in engineering (mechanical and electrical preferred) plus 3+ years practice experiences preferred
Based in Shenzhen, China. Good English communication capabilities
3- 5 years experience in mechanical design & Innovation
Experiences working in a cross-cultural environment
Familiar with AQL and basic quality control methods
Well self-management, proactive and mature characters, work independently with minimum supervision
