职位描述

General Manager
I. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
A.Plans and directsall facets of the company- China operation including software development, quality testing, information systems management, office facility, employees, local service providers and adhere to governmental compliance directives and regulations
B.Responsible for the attainment of short- and long-term financial and operational goals for the China operations
C.Directs the staff and personal development of the China organization to ensure future growth.
D.Owns and makes key technical decisions in collaboration with the U.S. based Software Engineering Managing Director
E.Interfaces with other groups within company in order to leverage appropriate technical services
F.Work closely with the Technical leads to ensure quality and timely completion of all technical deliverables
G.Works with the leads to monitor schedule, resources, scope, risk, issues, etc.
H.Responsible for identifying and developing technical leadsfor leadership roles
I.Work cooperatively in a team environment, openly sharing ideas and accepting improvement feedback
J.Communicate effectively and appropriately with internal team members and external clients
K.Adhere to company's Processes and Standards, supporting our CMMI initiatives
L.Perform additional responsibilities as requested

II.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
A.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering is required
B.MBA or Business degree is preferred
C.Study experiences at an English speaking country a plus.
Experience
A.6-8 years of experience developing enterprise-class software, experience within financial services industry a plus
B.3+ years management of development and quality control staff
C.3+ years writing JAVA or C# based software, with an aptitude for lifelong learning
D.Exceptional ability to learn or write web based JAVA or C# .Net software using technologies such as JSP, JSF or ASP.Net
Language Skills
A.English is the working language
B.General oral and written English skillsrequired
C.Experience at a foreign subsidiary in China a plus
Additional Skills
A.Ability to work independently
B.Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to changing work demands
C.Effective organization and time management skills
D.Ability to handle a dynamic work environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
E.Desire to grow skills and take on more complex/critical tasks
F.A career desire to consult with clients or lead technical teams is a plus
G.Experience with IBM InfoSphere technologies, including Information Server, DataStage, QualityStage, and MDM Server, is a plus
