职位描述
Job Descriptions:
- Lead AE team to provide technical support to design in projects
- Liaise with HQ and regional center AE team on all system level application development
- Develop competencies of team: Coach & manage Application Engineering team in China to bring the technical expertise to the next level
- Project responsibility with respect to functions / performance, quality, schedule, cost etc. of the sub system solutions, understand/implement NPD processes
- Monitor and push joint development projects with customers, Design Houses and 3rd parties, have regular Design Reviews
- Product definition, to fit the China market requirement, translate Voice of customer to QFD and to Specifications
- Execution of strategy in close cooperation with Business Development, Sales & Marketing team, Group in China, Germany and Singapore
- Recruitment, Budgeting, Lab Infrastructure, Planning and Execution for China
Job Requirements:
- Masters or Ph.D in Power Electronics with 15+ years of Experience in the Industry with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- A strong team management background, with the ability to be able to grow and manage a team of close to 30 headcounts in the next three years
- Understanding of Infineon product line, the technology and solutions in IPC segment and provide technical support
- Quickly establish strong credibility with key stakeholders from various internal function groups and external decision maker
Expert knowledge in technology and application of products similar with Infineon and ability to provide technical and application system level support
- Good general experience in managing the system level design with ability to guide software and hardware design challenges
- Demonstrate good leadership abilities to manage a team of experienced SAEs and grow the Technical Team (or show track record of growing team)
- Good presence and communication skills (both languages) to front customer with solutions and technicalities
- Should have worked on systems in different applications like Solar, Wind, UPS, Drives, Traction, etc. Working knowledge of DC/DC converters, inverter systems
- Ability to work in a matrix organization
- Preferably with over 15 years of experience in Design Engineering and as a Team Leader
- Should have designed or participated in designs of systems, topologies, loss map of converter topologies, devices, drivers, understanding of system architecture, processor architecture, understand/designed control systems, magnetics , Analog/Digital design, thermal aspects of a system
- Understand Safety, UL, TUV, China standards, Mechanical design, Nema 4X, IP protection classes etc
- Understand NPD processes, DFxx, DFSS etc... Reasonably well versed with Quality systems, Root cause analysis, Problem solving techniques
- Should be familiar with Mathcad, Matlab, P-spice/saber, and other software
- Ability to work with customers, define customer needs, answer customer queries, be able to work in conjunction with internal AEs to satisfy customer queries. QFD and Quality systems along with DFSS and DFxx an added advantage
- Ability to develop, manage and lead a successful AE team
- Ability in critical thinking process, solving challenging problems and coming up with preventive measures
- High level of initiative in problem solving, self-motivated and result-oriented
- Good team player, with the ability to work under pressure and lead a cross function team
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to apply a variety of interpersonal skills also at higher management levels to effectively direct / persuade / influence others
- Independent and self-motivated individual with ability to multi-task
- Good presentation & communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication in written and spoken English
