1. Job Summary:

Responsible for initiating, evaluating and implementing solutions to Assy process mainly focus on encapsulation, product design changes and program upgrade.

Coordinates introduction of new and redesigned products mainly in encapsulation area; coordinates special projects and performs feasibility studies to improve quality, performance and cost effectiveness of products.

Occasional overseas travel is required.

2. Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Analyzes Silicon Microphone problems, product rejects and coordinates the implementation of the solutions to production; publishes engineering and reject analysis reports, mainly working in encapsulation area.

2. Maintains prints, engineering specifications, Bill of materials, routings, operational standards, operation procedures .etc in encapsulation process.

3. Maintains current document system and innovates new document system from process and quality perspectives.

4. Initiates and implements cost reduction and UPH increase projects, coordinates with product changes and redesigned products. Assists Marketing and Quality Assurance in solving customer complaints regarding to product problems. Provides strong support when customer audit if needed.

5. Assists in the design, prototyping, and qualification of new production systems.

6. Occasional travel is required to our subcontract manufacturers both locally and overseas.

3. Job Specifications

1. Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering or equivalent.

2. 5 years minimum experience in Process Engineering in Semi-con Assembly House. Prefer to have casting/dispensing/encapsulation experience

3. Requires a self-motivated individual that has the ability to manage complex projects and processes.

4. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to establish processes and process controls using statistical methods/tools, for example Minitab, Six Sigma, etc.

5. Personal computer skills are required, and knowledge of associated applications such as word processors, spreadsheets, databases and project planning software is necessary.

6. Proficient/Fluent in English, Mandarin languages required (>CET4).
