Objective of job

• According to HQ tax and NEA finance strategy, DENA tax should provide strong tax support to Daimler Chinese JVs from shareholder perspectives. In order to fulfill this strategy, we need a L4.2 manager to actively take this task, supporting BBAC, FBAC, BDNT, BFDA, DCDC and other contemplated JVs.

Qualification required

• Skills –general skills, personality traits,
• Strong problem solving skill. Excellent English skill. Good project management, negotiation and communication skills. Result-oriented. Customer focus. Team work spirit.
• Functionality Skills – Process and technical skills
• Strong technical skill in China taxation. Strong direct tax experience and international tax experience preferred.
• Experience and education
• College degree or equivalent. Major in taxation, finance, accounting and economics is preferable. Master degree is preferable.
• 6-year tax experience at least. Big-4 tax experience is a necessary. MNCs tax experience is preferable.
• Management and leadership skills,
• Managerial skill is required.

Task designation

• Active communications with JVs through regular meetings and join the JV set-up process and business operations upon request from NEA finance and HQ tax
• Coordinate for cross-border transactions together with Tax HQs
• Review and determine the Chinese taxation for DAI overseas companies
• Support in organizing the documents for fee remittance to foreign DAI service provider
• Identify JVs tax risks and tax optimization opportunities, and protect DAI as the shareholder
• Coordinate with China TP manager and support JVs for related party transactions from TP perspectives
• Provide JVs with instant regulatory updates and impact analysis
• Provide/organize tax training
• Support JVs in negotiation with tax authorities
