About Global Healthcare Knowledge Manager:
The Global Healthcare Knowledge Manager's (KM) goal is to identify, capture, organize, share, leverage and increase the collective intellectual capital of the PwC network in a way that delivers value to both our clients and our practitioners. The global KM is independent, understands the value of building a strong healthcare network, delivers on the KM strategy, manages multiple workstreams, understands their roles and responsibilities, and works well with Senior Leadership. The global KM supports industry practitioners by:

  • Building connectivity across territories by sharing knowledge, identifying opportunities to collaborate, and identifying resources such that PwC is able to win and deliver on engagements;
  • Maintaining our global healthcare knowledge including but not limited to our, thought leadership, client case studies/citations, client proposals, Statement of Qualifications, key documents and contacts in network;
  • Keeping our global healthcare network up to date on current events through Market News, Monthly newsbrief, Knowledge Sharing calls.

The global healthcare KM ensures that partners and client engagement team members have timely access to industry knowledge (whether internally or externally developed) through the implementation of standardized content management strategies and the utilization of new technologies and applications. The KM assesses practice information needs and expectations; works closely with global healthcare leadership to align KM priorities and initiatives with industry program strategies: develops and executes content strategies and work plans in accordance with these needs and strategies; and supports the development and ongoing enhancement of multiple delivery channels (e.g., internal-facing and external-facing, Web-based and Lotus Notes-based). The KM encourages and secures industry leadership support; works / collaborates across sectors, territories and service lines with other KMs and developers of PwC-wide KM and technical tools and applications to ensure coordination and integration of effort; raises awareness of the importance of KM and the existence and use of currently available tools and resources; and demonstrates the value of KM initiatives in improving the level of client service and satisfaction, increasing profitability, creating a well-informed and knowledgeable client engagement team, delivering timely access to relevant and valuable information and effectively connecting our global network of professionals to each other. The KM prepares territory overviews for global healthcare leadership in preparation for territory visits. This includes indepth background details on clients and targets in the market. The KM also supports the leadership on the development of network and client presentations.


Responsibilities:

  • Enhance value to client service by delivering quality Knowledge Management to sustain and win more work;
  • Effectively develop and connect valuable knowledge to practitioners to successfully deliver better client service;
  • Creates and maintains a domain knowledge strategy and implementation workplan with initiative teams for execution;
  • Manages content lifecycle process by:
    • Publishes and maintains documents in the Global Knowledge Gateway and maintains the Domain Home Page;
    • Improves and simplifies user experience by resolving issues, requesting technical enhancements, tailoring the Domain Home Page, etc; and
    • Analyzes metrics and utilizes conclusions to enhance user experience, communicate with stakeholders and affect cultural change within the Domain.
  • Ensuring compliance with PwC Risk and Quality policies and brand policies;
  • Demonstrates client orientation through regular communication with leadership level stakeholders, includingdomain owner and sector leadership;
  • Demonstrate value of KM to the global organization by linking activities and networks more effectively to win work;
  • Builds and expand s PwC, Industry Cluster and Industry Sector KM networks;
  • Manages the intellectual property of the domain; and
  • Supports leadership through territory briefs including client background search. Manages their cluster meeting in coordination with the Marketing Leader.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) or equivalent experience;
  • 5 - 8 Years Experience;
  • Developing Self & Others through Coaching, Contributing to Team Success, Continuously Learning & Sharing Knowledge;
  • Focusing on the Client, Communicating with Impact, Demonstrating Courage & Integrity, Acquiring & Applying Technical Expertise; and
  • Building & Sustaining Relationships, Managing Projects & Economics, Change Agility.
