Vendor Management Manager

The Vendor Management Manager’s role is to support our New Products efforts in China. This individual will receive Requests for Quote (RFQ) from the US office and will direct our efforts in China to process these requests. The Manager will have a staff of New Product Merchandisers, support from our Engineer and QC Inspector as required.

The expectations for this position are to properly interpret the requirements for the RFQ’s and direct the team to communicate to our vendors in order to obtain the most competitive costs and acquire samples as necessary. All of this is to be done in a timely manner. The Vendor Management Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the project from the initial RFQ up until the first shipment leaves the factory. This position will be located in our office in Shenzhen, China.

Responsibilities:
Train and continually develop the skills of the New Products team members
Provide clear direction to staff to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Review all critical communications with management in US Office regarding New Products
New Product Project Management from initial quotes until product is delivered to US
Report on all aspects of RFQ performance


Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in related Field
Minimum of 2 years work experience in Managery position
Minimum of 2 years work experience in product sourcing or related field
Highly proficient in MS Office (Must be Advanced in Excel, Outlook)
Strong English communication skills including Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening
Ability to plan and prioritize tasks based on direction received
Capability to understand project needs and properly set expectations for staff
Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Experience Working with Major US Retailers:
WalMart, Home Depot, Lowes, Bed Bath & Beyond, Kmart, Target, JC Penneys, Others

Working hours as below :
-The Company’s normal working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30~9:30 am to 5:30~630 pm.
-You are entitled to one hours of lunch break every day.
