Field Marketing Telecom
CORE MISSION
?Gather, analyze and communicate the regional market data, needs and trends, support the sales team, introduce and push innovation in order to achieve short to long-term business results while ensuring the best customer satisfaction.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
?The Field Marketing Manager acts as the right hand of the Account Manager in order to identify and qualify new opportunities, to set up project strategies (Pricing, risk analysis, Go/No go), create and implement actions follow up process at the customer.
?The field marketer must have a very good understanding of the regional ecosystem and a deep understanding of Gemalto product & solution innovation to support the sales team. Besides he is responsible of introducing and pushing our innovation.
MAIN TASKS & DELIVERABLES
?MARKET, BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE & VISION
- Market assessment (trends, actors, techno)
- Customer understanding (needs, strategy, biz model, product/solutions, suppliers)
- Top customer analysis (products/solutions, vol, rev, MS)
- Competition analysis (mapping, SWOT)
- Business understanding (business activity reports)
- Yearly marketing plan
?PRICING CONTROL
- Deploy pricing process with adequate reporting & escalation.
- Maintain overall ASP on budget
?STRATEGIC PLAN & ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
Define business opportunities, build the product & solutions action plan
Animate and coordinate Account Planning Sessions (APS), define priorities when needed:
- Quarterly action plan shared with Account Managers and Solution Sales
- APS : active participation
- Decide and organize workshops and strategic meetings.
?SALES SUPPORT – PRODUCTS, SOLUTIONS, VAS & INNOVATION
In sync’ with sales team and in line with regional marketing plan, provide support to sales. Assist them in the achievement of the regional objectives
- Detecting & qualifying opportunities,
- Introducing classical product & solutions,
- Developing new businesses,
- Creating awareness around innovation, boost innovation take off
- Finding new business model and value proposition.
- Developing partnerships when pertinent
- Post Sales/Traffic Boosting activities to raise revenue potential
?CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Increase customer satisfaction and deploy the actions plan defined.

- Involvement in GSM & customer events;
- Advertisement & sharing successful case studies;
- Participation in Newsletter and Marcom events
REPORTING LINE
?Regional or Country Field Marketing Manager reports to the Regional or Area Field Marketing Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
?Business or engineering school diploma or post graduate degree
Skills
?English language, excellent level
?Intermediate in French language, preferably
?Excellent oral and written communication skills
?Business/result oriented
?Negotiation skills
?Preciseness and rigour to provide forecast
?Interpersonal skills
?Knowledge of Telecom market segment
Experience
?Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in Marketing
