Job Skills &Experience Requirements

College graduate major in foreign Trading, Logistics or equivalent;

More than two years shipping experience in foreign Shipping Line/Foreign Trading Company/ Sourcing Company/Merchandise Agency;

Good computer skills in MS Office especially excel;

Good written English and familiar with logistic in English;

Familiar with customs clearance procedure.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Check and confirm PO s information on forwarder, consignee, notify part, loading port,port of discharge, place of delivery, etc. with buyer and require buyer to amend PO if needed;

2. Check with vendor on shipping schedule to make sure on time devilry and get back to merchandiser if needed;

3. Work with vendor on weekly shipment forecast and provide the information to merchandiser, buyer and forwarder;

4. Instruct vendor to make the proper space booking and prepare documents on time, make sure container optimization and cost saving, turn over shipments to W/H or Terminal on time;

5. Understand the special requirements regarding shipping and documentation for different client;

6. Work closely with merchandisers and buyer to ensure that proper documents for each order have been passed to clients/forwarders on time;

7. Collect and check the commercial document and other document (if any), then send to forwarder by email for customer clearance at destination;

8. Collect and check daily shipment information and send to merchandiser and buyer once shipment is turned over to Forwarder;

9. Coordinate with vendor,merchandiser,forwarder to ensure every order can be accomplished successfully;

10. Filing shipping documents for easy checking;

11. Answer queries from merchandiser and buyer regarding shipping issues on time;

12. Deal with other shipping related issues being assigned.
