Job Summary (Brief overview on scope of job responsibility)

1. Provide support for technical consultation and new product development- Inspection Services product line.
2. Create and maintain inspection services tools and technical documents such as inspection protocol, field instructions, training material, assessment paper, etc.
3. Work with operation team to deploy new inspection services type or customized inspection services based on client requirements.
4. Provide technical support to inspection operation team, Business Development (BD) team, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Operation Program Manager (OPM).
5. Handle key client technical issue for resolutions, update on field instructions, & lead technical discussion with client to come up with services solution offering.
6. Provide support in coordinating appropriate resources with operation team & other department to build capacity on the implementation of new or customized services.
7. Support & work with operations to prepare draft proposals to clients;
8. New service delivery follow-up, review effectiveness and applicability and continuous development.

Job Responsibility & Accountability (Key roles, functions & accountabilities)

1. Develop & obtain approval for posting of Inspection services standard operation procedure (SOP), field instructions (FI). Maintain updates of these technical documents at BV ftp site.
2. Design, create & finalize training materials, individual and group training application exercises, assessment papers to build Inspector competency matrix.
3. Prepare training plan, training course outline- provide and deliver internal and external training services.
4. Set minimum skills requirements or basic qualifications to pre-qualified inspectors/resources to be trained- for delivering new or customized services.
5. Review client’s technical requirement or change request, and then prepare or maintain the related technical documents for client when necessary, such as client protocol, inspection filed instruction, and training material etc.
6. Attend meeting with client to understand client problem statement, needs and proposed services solutions offering in written.
7. Perform inspection services, training services, and consultancy services on-site.
8. Provide on site assessment and/or on site training for inspectors.
9. Answer technical enquiry from internal staff or client;

Required Skills & Qualifications (What skills are required for this position)

1. University graduates preferably with engineering degree.
2. With at least 5 years work experience on the multi-national manufacturing environment for consumer products- Soft Lines/Apparel. Work experiences on hard lines, electrical & electronic products will be advantages.
3. With substantial technical, operational and management knowledge and experience in product & process inspection, quality assurance and supply chain industries;
4. Familiar with Soft line- Apparel products- inspection protocol and inspection procedures;
5. Excellent language skills in Chinese and English;
6. Training Qualifications or Certificate on TTT program will be a plus!
7. Ability in effective communications with management, business partners, clients and staff members.
8. Ability to work with various cultures in a positive and constructive manner;
9. Initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment;
10. Computer knowledge on most updated version of MS PowerPoint words and excel.
