Compliance Engineer

Responsibilities:
1. Environmental and Compliance related Laws and Regulations
- Review Environmental, Social Responsibilities and Compliance related Laws and Regulations and identify their impact to the company
- Evaluate the risk level of the company and its product against the applicable Laws and Regulations
- Develop, establish and execute program for fulfilling the applicable laws and regulations
- Deliver trainings to the relevant internal and external parties
- Review and investigate the third party lab test report, analyses lab test report result, identify the root causes leading to the potential failure and initiate any necessary actions for resolving the problem

2. Conflict Minerals
- Handle inquiries from Contract Manufacturers (CMs) or suppliers
- Closely monitor, review and summarize the replies (including the EICC forms) from CMs or suppliers
- Performing Conflict Minerals reporting
- Assist the execution of the “3 steps” in Dodd-Frank Section 1502

3. Environmental Material Compliance Related Database or System
- To verify the Environmental Compliance Material Related System (like PG & C, Chemical Management Database or others) for identifying its limitation and capability
- Work closely with the developing parties and CMs on getting the Environmental Compliance Material Related System on live according to the predefined schedule
- Environmental Compliance Material related data manipulation like BOS/ BOM inputting, etc
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert and Asia support of LF for training up relevant parties and handling/ resolving any Environmental Compliance Material System related implementation issues

4. Support Team Projects
- Support other Team Projects including REACH, RoHS2.0, Washington, etc.
- Review, analyze, summarize, maintain and follow up related data, replies and documentation ( Lab Test Report, BOM/ BOS, Declaration, etc)
- Perform necessary reporting to the related authorities
- Perform on-site audit to the CMs and suppliers
- Handle customer inquiries and take care customer specific requirements
- Support and perform other tasks assigned by superiors



Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree or above in Chemical, Environmental Science or related disciplines
- Min 3 years relevant experience
- Third Party Laboratory or Consultancy experience is preferable.
- Received auditor training is preferable
- Good chemical background
- Analytical and logical mindset
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English & Chinese including spoken Putonghua
- “Can Do” attitude is required
- Willing to work under pressure
- Frequent travel is required
- Overtime work is required if necessary
- Commit to take responsibilities of his/her responsible jobs
- Willing to accept tasks assigned by superiors.
