Objective:This established and rapidly growing supply chain solutions company based in Shenzhen has a requirement for a Senior Qualified Accountant to develop the systems, processes, controls and reporting within the management accounting function.

Responsibilities:
1.Supervise the preparation of the daily sales report
2.Lead project accounting month-end requirements and liaise with Head Office in Cork on same
3.Lead preparation, review and presentation of customer profitability reports including GM by customer and Net Profit by customer.
4.Supervise the preparation of the monthly departmental management accounts
5.Drive the preparation and presentation of the monthly Management Reporting Packs for the operational teams and for each function head (e.g. HR, Legal, CEO office, etc). Reports to include budget versus actual results, etc
6.Identify key performance indicators (e.g. gross margin by item, customer profitability, etc) and develop comprehensive reports around these indicators
7.Develop key business relationships (with Client Team Directors, COO, etc) such that you can discuss / challenge product, project and customer profitability
8.Supervise the preparation of product and project budgets and costing information for current customers
9.Review and approval of all relevant Purchase Orders
10.Purchase Order tracking
11.Review and approval of local vendor payments
12.Lead and develop the management accounting team
13.Development and review of risk management reports including the exposure report and processes around that.
14.Review of Excess and Obsolete stock
15.Supervision of timesheet system, reporting, and calculation of labour cost and chargeout rates
16.Develop IT including faster and more accurate reporting, and development of ad hoc and standard report templates
17.Budgeting – involvement in generating the yearly budget
18.Ah hoc cash flow reporting.
19.General accounting duties and other projects as required

Requirements:
1.Qualified accountant with an internationally recognized qualification
2.At least 5 years PQE at a senior finance level
3. Strong operational support experience
4. Proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast changing, multicultural environment
5.Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
6.Excellent management and communication skills
7. Ability to work through detail but also to focus on the bigger picture
8.Strong IT skills
9.Be organized, structured, disciplined, and thorough
10.Strong attention to detail
11.Excellent communication skills
12.Ability to work in a pressurized environment
13.Willingness to learn, to take on new projects and work both in an individual and team setting
