Job Responsibilities:
The Sales Manager in Shanghai will be responsible for the business in East China, including Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Jiangxi and Anhui provinces. This will include analysis and identification of opportunities and the maximisation of sales through the appointment and maintenance of distributor networks. The role will also involve Key Account management. This will require an enthusiastic sales professional to raise the company profile in this territory and to meet area specific sales targets.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Develop a sales and marketing strategy for East China market
Appointment and maintenance of distributor networks in East China
Provide technical and commercial support to the distributors and agents.
Direct management of specific Key Accounts
Identify and develop of new application opportunities
Establish annual budget, forecast and sales plan in conjunction with line manager
Share information and cooperate with other regional mangers and colleagues in Palintest (both China and worldwide offices)
Contribute to product development needs of the Chinese business
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a successful track record in sales in the water testing sector. Experience of field testing instrumentation would be an advantage
Be a strategic thinker with a high level of commercial acumen
Distributor and key account management experience
Have extensive experience of customer interaction and high level negotiation
A self-starter able to work on their own initiative
A good team player able to command the respect of the other team members
Good oral and written English skills
Educated to Degree Level in a Science related subject
