About LEGO Global Commercial Team

Global commercial team is responsible for manages suppliers and novelty projects in Asia, Our Global Procurement Mission are: “ We will optimise the full value add capability of our Suppliers and leverage their knowledge and capability to provide cost effective solutions that support high quality levels and the desired flexibility to at all time meet customer demands”

Key Focus areas:
The position is reporting to the Key Account Manager in the Global Commercial team. With the responsibilities focus on Novelty project management; Project/ Product risk mitigation and cost negotiation & accuracy.
? Drive Novelty project development with different internal teams and suppliers.
? Secure cost accuracy of the product/ project
? Maintain the time schedule and secure the product delivery on time
? Driving novelty capacity planning and control
? Support novelty product quality
? Secure contract management
? Support on Supplier Relation Management (SRM)
? Support on Supplier performance tracking
? Continue improvement - Novelty/replenishment cost reduction, Replenishment lead-time reduction

Position Requirements:
? Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing/ Merchandising/ Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
? Min 5-8yrs in project management, for project Engineer with at least 5yrs in relevant position
? Strong project management and problems solving skill, ability to communicate with all levels from subordinate to management.
? Strong and pro-active in self motivation, negotiation, conflict resolution, presentation, teambuilding, leadership.
? Good knowledge of International product safety requirements of toy products such as EN71-part 3, ASTM and RoHS for toy industries etc.
? Self-driven and able to work under pressure within the time frame
? Fluent in English is a must.
? Wiliness to travel
