Basic Function of the Position:

· Provide support on assigned programs or areas to ensure the process/product of Lowe’s vendors’ factory is designed, procured, and manufactured in accordance with customer and Lowe’s quality requirements. Participate in product development and introduction activities, development of strategic plans, as well as general quality systems support and team development. Assist Lowe’s vendors in the coordination of quality management system activities to ensure implementation and maintenance of the system provide suitable and effective results. The incumbent will work closely with vendor’s factory such as process control, manufacturing engineering, safety and environmental to help with developing and implementing solutions consistent with the goals of the Lowe’s. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.

75% ? Quality process and product quality Improvement

Provide input on vendors/factories process/product improvements through production engineering analysis of processes, safety and/or risk avoidance opportunities. Monitoring and reviewing vendors/factories production problems as they are identified and implement solutions. Help vendors/factories to develop key measurements, data collection systems, quality standards. Assist with process capability studies and evaluate process and quality system documentation. Work with US QA and sourcing team to demonstrate cross-functional project management skills. Review quality trends and plan overall defect reduction programs associated with assigned product or project. Ongoing support of activities resulting from process improvement, product changes, etc.

25% ? Product Development and Introduction

Work with US QA team and sourcing team to contribute to ensuring quality requirement compliance during product development and introduction process. Activities will vary depending on project size, structure and phase but may include evaluation of design review and design for manufacturability, key measurement evaluation, schedule development, supplier quality evaluation, prototype manufacturing process activities, test procedures, inspection analyses, etc.

Requirements:

1. University/College graduate in engineering background.
2. 4 to 6 years working experience in factory technical capability assessment and production program management
3. Contribution to continue improvement, sales return reduction, etc.
4. Good command of written English.
5. Skilled working knowledge of ISO 9001 and five tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA) recommend by TS16949.
6. Skilled working knowledge of key product/process characteristics.
7. Strong self management and development skill.
8. Strong communication skills.
9. Skilled knowledge of statistical software (Minitab, etc.).
10. Good skill of Microsoft Office.
